Discover how to extend letter strokes and how to build up a design to ramp up the flamboyance! Learn to enhance your calligraphy with beautiful flourishes that look effortless, natural, and delicate. This workshop covers the rules of flourishing, and how to maintain balance. With the methods we share, you can create polished flourishes each time.

Understanding the techniques for making basic flourishing strokes, and how to flourish both lowercase and uppercase letters will allow you to build up your skills and move on to using swift, fluid movements.

This is a Beyond Beginner level workshop, so If you are an absolute beginner, it’s suggested you join one of our beginner workshops first. Controlling the pen and forming letters isn’t covered in this class.

Full Kit Option

This includes your worksheets, oblique penholder, Leondart 256 nib, black ink, paintbrush, gift tags and blank cards/envelopes, bleedproof  and a finetec.

No Kit option

If you would like to book this course and have all the kit, we do have a Worksheets only Option which means we will email you the worksheets once you have booked onto this workshop.
